Grace Imogene (Webb) Rogers was born February 25, 1922 at Meers, OK and departed this life on January 19, 2012 at Wichita Falls, TX at the age of 89 years, 10 months and 25 days. Imogene grew up at Walters, OK. She married Loyd Robert "Bode" Rogers on December 7, 1941at Walters and to the union 3 children were born. During WWII she lived in Oklahoma City working for McDonald Douglass doing aircraft wiring. She and Bode moved back to Walters upon his return from the war. Imogene was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in Walters. She enjoyed oil painting, quilting and a variety of other crafts. In 2002 Imogene moved to Wichita Falls and has been a member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994; her son, Loyd Robert Jr. "Bob", her son-in-law Clarence Fries; and a granddaughter, Marilyn Pitts. Survivors include a daughter, Rhonda Fries of Wichita Falls; a son, Randy Rogers and wife Kathy of Wichita Falls; a brother, Clyde Webb of Burkburnett, TX; 5 grandchildren, Kim Bingham of Bray, OK, Matt Rogers and April Baker of Bakersfield, CA, Kory Rogers and Kailee Rogers of Wichita Falls; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
