Martha Ruth Pevey

Martha Ruth Pevey was born to Goodner Johnston and Bertie Clyde (Avery) Gibson on November 13, 1939, at Lisbon, Texas and departed this life on January 3, 2012, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, at the age of 72 years, 1 month and 20 days. She grew up and attended school in Irving, TX. She married Verlie Williams. He preceded her in death and she later married Dale Pevey who also preceded her in death. She made her home in the Hastings and Waurika area, where she enjoyed going to her grandkids sports activities. Martha was preceded in death by her husbands; her parents; a daughter, Gail Anderson; a sister, Rose Stocki; 3 brothers, Winston Gibson, JC Gibson, and James Gibson. Mrs. Pevey is survived by; 3 daughters, Terrie Russell of Mansfield, TX, Sherri Renschen of Geronimo, OK, Darlene Cunnigan and husband Charles of Lawton, OK; 3 sons, Donald Williams of TX, Keith Salazar of Waurika, Pat Salazar and wife Brandi of Duncan; Partner and friend John Salazar of Hastings, OK; Many grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; Other relatives and many friends.
