Ronald Gene Hicklin

Ronald Gene "Big Ron" Hicklin was born to Cecil Gene and Mary Louise (Trousdale) Hicklin on December 1, 1957 at Oklahoma City, OK and departed this life at Walters, OK on October 26, 2011 at the age of 53 years, 10 months and 25 days. Ron grew up at Harrah, OK. He has been the Sales Manager at Southern Sales in Lawton for the past 13 years. He married Kimberly S. Thomas on July 15, 2010 in Wichita Falls, TX and they made their home in Walters. Big Ron enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting and carpentry. He especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Mary Hicklin. Survivors include his wife Kim of the home ; 2 sons, Brad Hicklin and wife Mika of McLoud, OK, and Jeff Martin of Harrah, OK; a daughter, Jawna McGehee also of Harrah; 3 brothers, Art Hicklin and wife Ronna of Nixa, MO, Robert Hicklin and wife Leslie of Shawnee, OK and Ben Hicklin of Sand Springs, OK; 2 step-kids, Robert Cruz and wife Shanna, Ashley Stoll and husband Jared all of Walters; 5 grandchildren, Miley Jo Hicklin, Nevaeh Cruz, Emmett Stoll, Carley Martin and Mason McGehee; nephews, Brian Columbus and Zack Hicklin; other relatives and many friends.
