Benita Gail Talton

Benita Gail (Brister) Talton was born to Charles Edward and Veronica Earlene (Trimble) Brister on December 10, 1963 at Fort Sill, OK and departed this life in Walters, OK, on October 14, 2011 at the age of 47 years, 10 months and 4 days. Gail grew up in the Orangefield, TX area until moving to Temple, OK, in her early teen years. Through the years she made her home at Temple and Duncan where she worked as a CNA at Country Club Nursing Home and also worked as a manager for Braums in Duncan. Because of ill health she moved to Walters two months ago to live with a son. Gail enjoyed cooking, camping and spending time with family. She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Brister and her brother, David Brister. Survivors include her mother, Veronica Brister of Temple; 3 sons, Joshua Pennington and Shawna of Duncan, Jonathon Cobbs and Connie of Walters, Jeffrey Cobbs and Reba of Duncan; a daughter, Jennifer Talton of Duncan; 4 brothers and sisters, Lynn Brister and Tammy of Orange, TX, Tammy and Mike Woods of Walters, Walter and Tammy Brister of Temple, Monica and Fred Arzola of Stillwater, OK; 12 grandchildren, Janae, Paris and Bryce Pennington, Haleigh Nicole and Hayden James, Wesley Bailey, Matthew and Gage Cobbs, Sequoia, Alissa and Isaac Cobbs, and Malachi Lorne; many other relatives and friends.
