Margaret Ann Jarvis

Margaret Ann "Granny" Jarvis was born to Robert and Francis (Rohlman) Fietz, June 24, 1930 at Shawnee, OK, and departed this life on October 10, 2011 at Duncan, OK, at the age of 81 years, 3 months and 16 days. Margaret grew up near Hulen, OK where she attended school until transferring to Walters schools around the 6th grade. She married Elmer Lee Jarvis on March 31, 1947 at Walters. She lived on her family's farm at the current location for 79 years, where she and Elmer were engaged in farming all their married life. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Kathy Ann Weatherly; and a grandson Jeremy "Bubba" Jarvis. Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons, Gary Jarvis of Walters and Don Jarvis and wife Linda of Edmond, OK; 7 grandchildren, Shane Jarvis and wife Kristen of Cassoday, KS, Chris Jarvis and wife Nancy of Chickasha, OK, Juli Brenton and husband Mike of Edmond, OK, Jeremiah Jarvis of Edmond, OK, Robert Weatherly, Scott Weatherly, and Michael Weatherly; 6 Great grandchildren, Hesston Jarvis, Parker Jarvis, Kouper Jarvis, McKenna Jarvis, Natili Brenton and Jeremy "Scooter" Brenton; other relatives and many friends.
