Lorain A Brown

Lorain A. Brown was born on November 16, 1934 in Duke, Oklahoma to Frank & Winnie Dickenson. She passed away on August 22, 2011 in Oroville, California. Lorain graduated from Temple High School in 1953. She worked as a teacher's aide in the Fremont and Newark area of California for 5 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, 3 brothers, 6 sisters, 2 nieces and 6 nephews Lorain is survived by her husband of 57 years, Louie Brown of Oroville, CA; her 4 daughters, Shelley Devereaux of Raleigh, NC, Sharon Harris, Janet Jones both of Oroville, CA, and Glenda Garcia of Apex, NC; her 2 sons, Gerald Brown of Merced, CA and Jeffrey Brown of Kingman, AZ; 2 sisters, Joyce Jackson of TX; and Grace Murrin of KS; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
