Beverly Jean Maddox

Beverly Jean (Netherlain) Maddox was born April 16, 1940 at Burkburnett, TX and went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 27, 2011 in Randlett, OK at the age of 71 years, 4 months and 11 days. Beverly grew up at Burkburnett and was the Basketball Queen and Drum Major in high school. She married Buddy Maddox on November 29, 1956 at Burkburnett and they made their home in Texas until settling in Randlett 30 years ago. She worked for several years as a substitute teacher at Burburnett Junior High. She was a member of Lighthouse Church in Burkburnett. She enjoyed her church work, crossword puzzles, shoping, gardening and decorating. She loved her family and friends, many who were so helpfull during her illness. Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Buddy, on December 2, 2003. She is survived by a daughter, Sonya Maddox of Randlett, OK; 3 grandchildren, Cody Sands and wife Mindy, Jody Elliott and wife Amy, and Kimmie Burden all of Wichita Falls, TX; 5 great grandkids, Kamryn, Gavin, Lyla, Kynlee and Ava Grayce; a sister, Anita Robertson and husband Ronald of Lubbock, TX; other relatives and many friends.
