Carolyn Muriel Nix

Carolyn Muriel Nix was born to Roy Doyal and Lillie Mae (McAllister) Moore on July 29, 1947, at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and departed this life on August, 9, 2011, in Duncan, Oklahoma, at the age of 64 years, Carolyn grew up at Walters and graduated from Walters High School in 1965 then attended Southwestern State College for 1 year. She married the love of her life and best friend, Roy Dean Nix, on January 31, 1970, at Cache, OK. They had 41 years of love and laughter that are and inspiration to their children and grandchildren. She was a loved and cherished Wife, Mother, Nana, and friend. We were truly blessed to have her in our lives and she will be missed every day. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Roy D and Lillie Moore; her Aunt and Uncle, Charles and Christabelle Waltermiiere; and her grandparents, Poppie and Clara McAllister. Survivors include her loving husband, Roy Nix of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Lori and Chad Gent; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Roy Devin and Cathy Nix of Duncan, OK, and Michael and Christy Nix of Woodward, OK; 8 grandchildren, whom she dearly loved, Natalie and Seth Gent, Casey and Riley Nix, Heather, Donovan, Jessica, and Andon Nix; 3 great-grandchildren other relatives and friends.
