Online guest book at www.hart-wyattfuneralhome.com Wanda Lee was born February 9, 1928 in Brock, Oklahoma to Thurman Cecil,Sr., and Jewell Clanahan Mapp, and departed this life May 20, 2011, in Marlow, Oklahoma at the age of 83 years, 3 months and 11 days. She was raised in the Brock area and grew up attending the Assembly of God church. Wanda Lee married Odis Omer Norton on April 24, 1946 in Gainesville, Texas. They spent most of their married life in Temple, Oklahoma. Wanda Lee was a lifelong homemaker. She will be remembered as a devoted mother who loved and cared deeply for her family. She was very proud of her children and grandchildren and always looked forward to their visits or for a chance to babysit. She loved to cook and to have family and friends over for dinner. She was also a lover of pets, providing a safe home for dogs and cats. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Cecil and Burnace, and by her husband, Odis, who passed away on October 1, 2002. She is survived by two daughters, Sue Wyatt and her husband Joel, of Temple and Brenda Kay and her husband, Chris Yarbrough of Duncan, two sons, Mike Norton and his wife Sharon of Temple and Otis Lee Norton of Oklahoma City, eight grandchildren, and twenty-three great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Pallbearers will be Charles Holybee, David Roberts, Greg Kohout, Richard Cook, Michael Joe Norton, and Eric Norton.
