Billie Ray Yurchak

Billie Ray Bowles Yurchak was born to Bob and Ottie Viola (Jameson) Chesser on February 21, 1930, at Decatur, TX, and departed this life on April 2, 2011, at Duncan, OK, at the age of 81 years, 1 month and 11 days. She grew up around Decatur, TX, and was married to Austin Bowles on January 7, 1948, at Ft. Worth, TX. To this union 8 children were born. Billie has made her home in the Temple area for over 50 years. She was employed by the Haggar Slacks Factory in Temple for 30 years and she was the caretaker for her family. Billie was a member of the First Baptist Church in Comanche, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son David Bowles, a daughter Paula Langford and a grandson Chris Bowles. Survivors include: Four sons; Austin Bowles Jr., of Decatur, TX, Mitchell Bowles of Randlett, OK, Gary Bowles of Davis, OK, and Paul Bowles of Waurika, OK. Two Daughters; Nancy Mefford of Comanche, OK, and Patricia Parkey of Corum, OK. One Brother; Robert Thomas Chesser of Ft. Worth, TX., 23 Grandchildren and 25 Great Grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
