Maxine Marie Holt was born to John Irving and Lillian Mae (Bailey) Bridgers in Patricia, Texas on September 17, 1928 and departed this life in Temple, Oklahoma on March 1, 2011 at the age of 82 years, 5 months and 12 days. Maxine grew up on the Beaver Creek near Empire and graduated high school from Empire in 1946. She married Marion Jack Holt and they made their home in the same area. He passed away on January 16, 1984. She lived at the house until she had to move to the nursing home. She attended First Assembly of God, Corum and enjoyed to hunt rocks, gardening, flowers, cattle and her grandkids. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Ralph Holt; two brothers, James "Son" Bridgers and Gary "Red" Bridgers; and 5 sisters, Dorothy "Dot" Hasty, Shirley "Sissy" Wharry, Johnie Mae Estes, Mary "Bunk" Giles and Darlene "Bish" Cecil. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Alan Holt and Karen of Corum; a brother and sister-in-law, Lindley "Termite" Bridgers and Evelyn of Empire; three grandchildren, Tassie "Sassy and husband Cody Berry, Trent "Bubba" Holt and Tina and husband Eric Sahr; 6 great-grandchildren, Daniel Hedges, Tyler Hedges, Kaitlyn Holt, Kearston Holt, Kendol Holt and Skyla Berry, and many other relatives and friends.
