Pauline Mandy Reed

July 17, 1920 — February 23, 2011

Pauline Mandy (Collier) Reed was born to Dan Archie and Lena (Watts) Collier on July 17, 1920, in Randlett, OK. Pauline grew up in the Randlett, OK, area. She married Eddie Rollen Reed on June 5, 1939, in Chattanooga, OK. They made their home on the Reed home place 7 miles east of Randlett for a few years, then moved to Rabbit Creek for a time before returning to the home place in the early 1950's. He passed away from cancer on January 25, 1999. Pauline then moved to De Soto, TX, to be near her daughters. Pauline worked for Temple Manufacturing Co. (Haggar Slacks Factory), Temple, OK, for 31 years. She enjoyed many fishing trips to Colorado, as well as fishing at the Waurika Lake. She was preceded in death by her husband Eddie Reed, January 25, 1999; her son Eddie Butch Reed on April 11, 1981; her daughter, Linda Kaye Richardson on August 9, 2005; 2 brothers, Gerald and Murrell Collier; and 3 sisters, Rita Faye Carter, Danny June Collins and Johnnie Mae Johnson. Survivors include one daughter, Alice Sue Richardson, married to Claudie Richardson of De Soto, TX; a son-in-law, Freddie Richardson, also of De Soto; one sister, Mary Helen Cook of Broken Arrow, OK; 5 loving grandchildren, Debbie Ramsey, Pamela Duncan, Sherri Taylor, Ricky Richardson, Toni Lynn Richardson; 10 great grandchildren, Casey Ramsey, Kristin Berend, Alicia Lott, Ashley Kieschnick, Justin Duncan, Lance Duncan, Kimberly Richardson, Kelly Richardson, Devon Taylor, Erin Taylor; 6 great-great grandchildren, Jordan Lott, Taylor Lott, Cody Ramsey, Caitlin Ramsey, Carter Kieschnick; other relatives and many friends. She was a blessing to all of us and will be deeply missed.
