James Matthew Hearon

James Matthew Hearon was born to J.M. and Barbara June (Sawyer) Hearon in Duncan, Oklahoma on March 12, 1974 and departed this life in The Woodlands, Texas on January 26, 2011 at the age of 36 years, 10 months and 14 days. Matt grew up in Duncan, OK before graduating from Empire High School, Empire, OK in 1992. He received his Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety from Southeastern University in 2000. He worked as a Safety Officer in the oil fields around the world. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, being outdoors, watching football and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He was also a member of Sigma Tau Gamma. He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother J.W. Hearon. Survivors include his father of Stringtown, OK; a sister and brother-in-law, Christi Hearon and Jason Bradfute of Frisco, TX; a niece Maddison Rose of Frisco; his ex-wife Amy Whitaker of Ardmore, OK and many other relatives and friends.
