Dorothy Jean Lovett was born to Park Emmel and Pauline (Smith) Ward in Chattanooga, OK on May 14, 1933 and departed this life in Wichita Falls, TX on November 30, 2010 at the age of 77 years, 6 months and 16 days. Dorothy grew up in Lawton, OK and married Willie Albert Lovett Jr. in Henrietta, TX on September 2, 1950 and they made their home in Lawton. They moved to Siloam Springs, AR in 1971. They lived in Oklahoma, Arkansas and Missouri until settling back in Lawton in 2000. She enjoyed cooking for the family, yard sales, quilting, woodwork, fishing and spending time with her grand children and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Albert Lovett Jr. on June 30, 2006; an infant son; a grandson; Jayson and her father, Park Emmel Ward. Survivor include her mother, Pauline Smith Ward of Lawton; three sons, Jay Lovett, David Lovett and Greg Lovett all of Winslow, AR; two daughters and sons-in-law, Lynne and Wayne Shannon and Shannon and Dennis Harris all of Wichita Falls, TX; four brothers, Jack Ward and wife Nancy of Princeton, TX, Charles Ward and wife Jeanie of Albuquerque, NM, Donald Ward and Alfred Ward both of Siloam Springs, AR; two sisters, Patricia and husband Jerry Moore of Lawton and Paula Cox of Meers, OK; 13grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
