Marion Malcom Bowles

Marion Malcom "Babe" Bowles was born to James Mack and Mary Louise (Miller) Bowles at Randlett, Oklahoma, May 5, 1912, and departed this life at Wichita Falls, Texas, October 30, 2010, at the age of 98 years, 5 months and 25 days. Babe grew up in the Cookietown and Randlett area, attending Union Valley and Randlett Schools. He married Leatrice Jewel Boles on July 8, 1935, at Randlett and they made their home in the Union Valley Community until moving to Randlett in 1953. Through the years Babe was engaged in farming and was a school bus driver and custodian. He was a member of Randlett Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife in 1992, 4 brothers and 3 sisters. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law Jerry and Sue Bowles of Walters, OK; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Lola and Bob Ritchie, Cindy and Earl McCormick all of Wichita Falls, TX; 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren; other relatives and many friends.
