Margaret Kathleen Field

Margaret Kathleen "Kathy" (Korper) Field was born April 25, 1957, at Edmond, OK and departed this life in Las Vegas, NV, on September 15, 2010, at the age of 53 years, 4 months and 21 days. Kathy grew up in Albany, GA, Topeka, KS and Carmichael, CA. After high school she went on to complete dental hygiene school. She later married Steve Field and they eventually moved from Catoosa, OK, to Las Vegas, NV, where Kathy has worked as a cocktail waitress for many years. She enjoyed showing dogs, was a championship water skier, enjoyed a good game of keno, loved visiting on the phone and she was a member of the Beta Phi Sigma Sorority. Survivors include her parents, M. Clivene (Knapp) Korper of Temple, OK and Christopher C. "Kip" Korper of Kent, WA; her daughter, Heather Valenty of Englewood, CO; 2 sons, Heath Christopher Valenty of Las Vegas, NV, and Sgt. Travis Wayne Field of Twentynine Palms, CA, currently serving in the US Marine Corps; a grandson, Trey Christopher Butrico-Valenty of Las Vegas; 3 brothers, Keith Douglas Korper and wife Gail of Oklahoma City, Kent Christopher Korper of Kent, WA and Kevin Curtis Korper of Sacramento, CA; several nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.
