Helen M. Crow

Helen Margaret (Bunch) Crow was born to Lee Owen and Maud Mae (Cook) Bunch on January 9, 1940, in Oklahoma City, OK and departed this life at her home south of Geronimo, OK, on June 23, 2010, at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 14 days. Helen grew up in the Hillside Community where she went to grade school before attending Lawton High School, graduating in 1957. She married Billy John Crow on March 8, 1958, at First Baptist Geronimo, making their home south of Geronimo the entire 52 years of marriage. Helen worked various jobs through the years and eventually retired after 25 years with Geronimo Public Schools. She also worked as church secretary, played the piano and organ, and taught beginners in Sunday school. She is currently a member of the Antioch Baptist Church south of Lawton, serving as pianist. She was preceded in death by her parents, aunts and uncles. Survivors include her husband Bill of the home; 4 sons and their wives, Billy Jack and Sara Crow of Walters, Brent and Jan Crow of Comanche, OK, Johnny and Stephanie Crow of Walters, and Rodney Crow of Walters; 8 grandchildren and their spouses, Kacy and Jake Lee, Brandon and Jaime Crow, Jessica Crow, Joshua Crow, Brittany and Donald Christensen, Rodney Crow, Cody Crow and Andrew Crow; a great granddaughter, Jacy Lee; her sister, Jeanne Jarvis of Lawton; other relatives and many friends.
