Larry Milton Robbs was born to Milton and Juanita Ruby (Bloxsom) Robbs on December 3, 1944, at Plainview, TX and departed this life in Lawton, OK on May 20, 2010 at the age of 65 years, 5 months and 21days. Larry grew up in West Texas, graduating from Dumas High School in 1964. He attended some college and then joined the United States Army, serving his country honorably in Vietnam. Upon his return from the service he worked at Texas Instruments for a time before settling in Temple, OK working on the Waurika Lake dam project and doing custom harvesting. He married Pat (Kindred) Carter on May 24, 1977 at Wichita Falls, TX. He went to work for Haliburton at Duncan in 1979, retiring in 2009 after a 30 year career. Larry was a member of the Church of Christ in Temple where he was very actively involved. He loved spending time with the grandkids, camping, watching ball games, and anything else they were doing. He enjoyed keeping an immaculate yard and going camping in Colorado with the family. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Pat of the home; his children, DeAnn Ingrum and husband Jim, and Rhonda Toquothty all of Geronimo, OK, Don Carter and Sherry Carter both of Temple; 6 brothers and sisters, Floyd and Rosemary Robbs of Wilcox, AZ, Marie Cline of Littlefield, TX, Viola Noyes of Walsh, CO, Toots and Raymond Spurlock of Temple, R.L. and Sally Robbs of Wilcox, AZ, and his twin brother, Jerry Robbs, of Dennison, TX; 9 grandchildren, Misty and Robert Witten, Dustin Carter, Shana Ingrum, Ronald and Haiden Carter, Jamie, Jessie and Jodi Ingrum; 4 great grandchildren, Kylie Sanders, Ryan Witten, Shy Ingrum and Payton Witten.
