Grace Lee Wright

Grace Lee (Pannell) Wright was born to Cleve H. and Emma (Nelms) Pannell on April 18, 1918, west of Temple, OK and departed this life in Temple, OK on March 7, 2010, at the age of 91 years, 10 months and 17 days. Grace grew up in the Temple and Hulan areas. She married Robert Alexander Wright on November 18, 1936 and they made their home at Temple until moving to Cement, Oklahoma, in 1955. Robert retired in 1986 and they moved to Walters where she was a member of First Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafts, flower and vegetable gardening, and spending time with her grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert in 1988; 3 brothers, Dink, Roy and Jr.; 3 sisters, Ruby, Ruth and Jo; a son-in-law, Cuz Howard; and a grandson, Eddy Howard. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robert and Joyce Wright of Bartlesville, OK; her daughter, Shirley Howard of Walters, OK; her grandson, Charlie Howard of Walters; a great-grandson, Clint Rollins; a great-great-grandson, Cuttler Rollins and other relatives and friends.
