Carroll Wayne Suson was born to Andy Alexander and Mary Helen (Paylor) Suson in Selma, Alabama on September 28, 1945 and departed this life in Lawton, Oklahoma on February 21, 2010 at the age of 64 years, 4 months and 24 days. Carroll Wayne's family moved to Walters, OK when he was six years old, he graduated from Walters High School in 1964 and spent most of his life there. His work consisted of being a mechanic and a truck driver, the two things he enjoyed the most. He drove a truck throughout North America including Canada and Mexico over a period of 42 years. He was a member of the Open Door Church of God, Walters and a John Wayne enthusiast. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles; two brothers, Gerry and Kenny Suson; two sisters, Mary Belle Piatt and Juanita Quick; two brothers-in-law, Roy Allen Piatt and Leon Noland; a niece, Telana Suson; a nephew, Alex Suson and a great nephew, Joel Allen Suson. Survivors include a daughter, Sherri Stubblefield of Lawton; two sons, Greg Suson and wife Sharon of Wichita, Kansas and Michael Suson of Lawton; three grandchildren, Jeremiah and Dylan Keplinger both of Lawton and Nicole Suson of Walters; four brothers, Jerry Suson and Andy Suson both of Walters, David Suson and Terry Suson both of Ft. Worth; five sisters, Dorothy Noland, Christine Dutton, Aileen Stanphill, LaOna Gonzales and Gina Suson all of Walters; a lifelong friend, Bobby Newby of Randlett, OK and many other family members and friends.
