Frances Ann Wynn was born November 26, 1918, to Thomas M. and Frankie Foster Jones at Argyle, TX and departed this life in Lawton, OK, on January 11, 2010, at the age of 91 years, 1 month and 16 days. Ann grew up in Argyle and married Paul Wynn December 24, 1937 in Denton, Texas. To this union 2 daughters were born, Nancy Beth and Paula Kay. Paul was hired as an Engineer for Cotton Electric and they moved to Walters December 1, 1947. Ann was employed by Cotton County for 30 years, 16 of those as County Treasurer from which she retired July 1, 1981. She was a charter member of Cotton County Art Council and a member of First Baptist Church, Walters. She enjoyed painting, gardening, fishing, sewing, dancing and traveling. For several years she and Paul traveled throughout the USA in their motor home, which she continued after Paul's death, February 22, 1991. Port Aransas, Texas was her favorite place to visit. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed family gatherings. She is survived by daughter, Nancy and son-in-law Butch Teakell of Lawton; grandchildren, Jay Teakell and Barbara of Lawton, Mika Savage and Randy of Duncan; great-grandchildren, Brian, Nick, Jayme, Gabe and Clementine Teakell, Whitney and Garret Taylor, Dylan and Tyler Savage, Jordon Huckaby and Harvey Cox, Jr.; great grandson, Aiden Teakell; 2 nephews, Charles Horton and Mike Wynn; 3 nieces Shirley Hedrick, BeaAnn Winters and Linda Fox; many friends and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Paula, grandson Jeff Teakell, great-granddaughter Courtney Savage, her sister Dorothy Horton, and 2 brothers, Thomas M. Jones, Jr. and her twin Franklin Pierce Jones.
