Clarence Ernest Dranger was born to Ernest and Elizabeth Feller Dranger in Buffalo, New York on July 11, 1932 and departed this life in Lawton on January 2, 2010 at the age of 77 years, 5 months and 22 days. Clarence grew up in Buffalo and started working as a Grounds Supervisor at the Lakeside Memorial Park in Hamburg, NY. for over forty years. When he moved back to Oklahoma he worked as a heavy equipment operator during the construction of Central Mall in Lawton, OK. He worked for the Oklahoma Turnpike Authority as a Highway Supervisor until he retired. He married Delores Mejia on August 18, 1958 in Lawton, OK. He enjoyed staying busy by helping others and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters; Pearl White and Bernice Bishop. Survivors include his wife Delores Dranger of the home; a son and daughter in law, Rick and Diane Dranger of Eden, NY; a daughter and son in law, Cheryl and Keith Powers of Walters, OK; six grandchildren, Jason Dranger, Brandon Dranger, Leah Stevens, Jesse Dranger, Casey Southerland, and April Sutherland; four great grandchildren, Brandon Dranger Jr., Ian Southerland, Hayden Nelson and Kelton Sutherland and many other relatives and friends.
