Joanne Mason

Joanne Mason was born to Anderson and Georgie Ann Boyle Stewart in Walters, OK on March 27, 1936 and departed this life in Walters on December 25, 2009 at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 29 days. Joanne grew up in Walters, OK and attended school there. She owned an antique store and was a homemaker for many years. She enjoyed building dolls, crochet and fish. She was a part of the Red Hat Society and attended the Lawton Christian Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Tommy Ewan; two sons, Dennis Lee Bivins and Michael Keith Welch. Survivors include three sons and spouses, Scooter and Kim Bivins, Doss "Skipper" and Joanne Bivins all of Temple, OK and Carson and Loretta Bivins of Canadian, TX; three daughters, Teresa Stewart Young of Bastrop, TX, Cindy and Guy Marrs of Koffman, TX and Carol Jean Gatlin of Eric, OK; 15 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
