Melba Gayle (Moore) Eubanks was born to Irma and Wade Moore on April 9, 1939, at Walters, OK and passed away peacefully on December 9, 2009, in Anaheim, CA, at the age of 70 years and 8 months. Melba grew up at Walters where she attended Walters High School and was a member of the Church of God. She married Roscoe Eubanks in 1956 at Lawton, Oklahoma. During his military service they made their home in several places, including Germany until returning to Walters. She was employed at the Haggar slacks factory in Temple for a time until moving to the Anaheim, California area where she was employed at a glass factory for many years. After retiring she enjoyed traveling. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Roscoe in 1973; a son E. Wade Eubanks; and a brother Robert Moore. Survivors include 2 daughters, Jan Melberg and husband Clint, Kathy Cook and husband Parris all of California; grandchildren, Cheyanne Cook, Jessica Cook, Garrett Melberg and Jennifer Melberg; an uncle, Nathan Murray of Duncan, OK; an aunt, Ruby Murray of Comanche, OK; other relatives and many friends.
