Arrawannah Ann Ogletree was born to William Bert and Annie (Stevenson) Capps on September 28, 1924 at Comanche, Oklahoma and departed this life in Temple, Oklahoma on December 23, 2009, at the age of 85 years, 2 months and 25 days. Ann grew up at Comanche, graduating from Comanche High School. She attended business college in Oklahoma City and held a clerical job there. She married William C. "Bill" Ogletree at Walters on April 10, 1943, and made their home in Walters. Ann was a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell in Walters for several years and later worked for Cotton Electric Cooperative in the engineering department and later the membership department. After retirement, Ann assisted with the pre-school and child care center at the First United Methodist Church. She did beautiful crochet work, and friends and family are blessed with beautiful bedspreads and afgans from her talents. Ann loved walking with her dog Queenie. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Walters. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, William Thomas "Bill" Capps; and her two sons, William Lester "Skipper" Ogletree on October 12, 1974 and Ronald Keith Ogletree on June 24, 2005. Survivors include her husband, Bill of the VA Center in Lawton; 2 grandsons, Bryan Keith Ogletree and Julie of Duncan, OK, Gregory Scott Ogletree and Lisa of Walters; daughter-in-law, Jane Ogletree of Walters; 7 great grandchildren, Charli, Quaid, Gage, Jill, Kinly, Chase and Bryson; 3 sisters-in-law, Doris Capps of the Dallas area, Katie Wilkinson of Norman, Mildred Trent and husband T.J. of Arizona; a brother-in-law Howell Ogletree and wife Alma of Lowell, AR; a number of nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends.
