Claude Ray Stapp

Claude Ray Stapp was born to Buford Lee and Dora Mae (Walker) Stapp on April 14, 1966, in Oklahoma City, OK and departed this life in Lawton, OK, on October 5, 2009, at the age of 43 years, 5 months and 21 days. Claude grew up in Walters and Lawton. He made his home in Lawton where he has been employed by Ford Roofing for the past 15 years. He enjoyed spending time with friends, sitting on the porch and going to the mountains. He also enjoyed watching Westerns and the Andy Griffith Show. Claude was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, Leroy Stapp, Jimmy and Robert Huddleston, and a sister Ruth Nix. Survivors include his life companion, Karen Taylor of the home; 2 daughters, Amanda Taylor of Sterling and Jennifer Taylor of Lawton; 4 grandchildren, Carolyn, Destiny, Elizabeth and T.J.; a brother, William L. Stapp of Lawton; 5 sisters, Dean Baggs of Randlett, OK, Edith Kitchen and Linda Stapp both of Walters, Carolyn Shanks and Bonnie Helton both of Purcell, OK; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
