Wesley Clinton Martin was born to Clarence and Emma Lou Hooper Martin in Logan's Port, Louisiana on July 2, 1949 and departed this life in Walters, Oklahoma on September 23, 2009 at the age of 60 years, 2 months and 21 days. Wesley graduated from North Shore High School in Houston, TX and received a B.A from Texas A&I University. He joined the U.S. Air Force earning the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award and the rank of Staff Sergeant before being Honorable discharged. After the military he worked for the Department of Interior as a computer specialist. He married Anita Keck on January 13, 1990 in Corpus Cristi, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife Anita Martin of the home, 4 sons; Scott Martin of Houston, Jeffery Martin, Ronold Martin and Randol Martin all of Duncan, a daughter and son-in-law; Nicole and Ben Koehn of Lawton, a daughter-in-law; Phillis Martin,a brother David Martin of Walters, 2 granddaughters; Audrey Rose Marie Martin and Rachel Ann Martin, many other relatives and friends.
