Max Lee Chandler

Max Chandler was born to J.C. and Mary Chandler on September 26, 1955, in Walters, Oklahoma and departed this life in Oklahoma City on August 22, 2009, at the age of 53 years, 10 months and 27 days. Max served his country honorably in the U.S. Army from 1973 to 1979, stationed at Fort Sill, OK. After his discharge he became a certified welder and later had an auto upholstery business in Lawton with his brother, Jim. Through the years he enjoyed fishing, gardening, taking the family to the lake and coaching little league. Lead by his brother Jim, Max gave his life to Lord in the first part of 2006, making Jesus his Lord and personal savior. Max was preceded in death by his mother and father, Mary and J.C. Chandler; his grandparents, Ernest and Bonnie Bivins; and nephew Craig Chandler. His is survived by his wife, Glenna and children Aubrie Louise and Cody Lee Chandler all of the home; his brother, Jim Chandler and wife Catherine of Lawton; three sisters, Janie Lucero and husband John of Guthrie, OK, Shirley and husband Ali Al-Rasheed of Lawton, OK, Bonnie Lynn Chandler also of Lawton; his half sister, Patricia Tafoya of Colorado Springs, CO; 2 grandchildren, Ty Adrian of Iowa Park, TX and Carlee L. Chandler of Walters; a sister-in-law, Gay Lynn Johnson and husband Dave of Southlake, TX; his mother-in-law, Louise Hamilton of Walters; many nieces, nephews, an uncle and 4 aunts of Colorado Springs; other relatives and many friends.
