Thomas Werden "Tom" Parrack was born September 15, 1930, in the Union Valley Community near Cookietown, OK, to Ethel and W. E. Parrack and departed this life at his home in Walters, OK, on July 20, 2009, at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 5 days. Tom lived at Union Valley and graduated from Ahpeatone High School. He married Wilma Faye Randall on February 22, 1948 at Henrietta, Texas. Tom and Wilma lived at Walters after their marriage, where he was employed by Cotton Electric Co-op for 38 years, retiring as a Construction Supervisor. He was a member of First Baptist Church and was a Walters Volunteer Fireman for many years. He was also was a member of the local Masonic Lodge and for several years assisted with the Special Olympics in Stillwater, which was very special to him. He loved to golf, fish and hunt and mostly loved to play typical practical jokes just for fun. Survivors include two sons and a daughter- in-law, Mike and Dorene Howell Parrack of Breckenridge, Texas, Rick Parrack of Newton, Kansas; a son-in-law, Ron Garnett of Lawton, Oklahoma; Three granddaughters: Taleigha and her husband Frank Murray of Iowa Park, Mikala Parrack and David Haiduk of Odessa, Texas and Julissa Parrack of Wichita Falls, Texas; two great-granddaughters, Payton Brynn and Learson Ryann Murray, Iowa Park; many nieces, nephews and most beloved friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Wilma; and daughter Patricia Ann Garnett.
