Louie Raymond Riddles was born to Wade G. and Sarah Alberta (Parmaley) Riddles on August 20, 1920 in Marlow, Oklahoma and departed this life in Lawton, Oklahoma on June 7 at the age of 88 years, 9 months and 28 days. Louie grew up in Comanche, Walters and Temple, OK and worked as a Fry Cook, ranch hand and a butcher before entering the Army during WWII serving in the Pacific earning the Good Conduct, WWII Victory, Asiatic Pacific Service, Purple Heart Medals and the Philippine Liberation Medal with a Bronze Service Star. After his discharge he worked several jobs before becoming a butcher at the Ft. Sill Commissary, he retired from there after 20 yrs. He also was a minister for the Church of Christ for 17 yrs. He married Ruby Mae Kindred on July 8, 1946 and she preceded him in death on July 10, 2007. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Temple, the American Legion and the Disable Veteran Association. He was preceded in death by his wife, three brothers, Buster, Clarence and Ted Riddles, a sister Medi Wittington and a great grandson Taylor Riddles. He is survived by 2 sons, Louie Riddles and wife Janice of Mustang, OK and Jerry Riddles of Wichita Falls, TX; a daughter, Nancy Ottwell and husband Don of Temple, OK; 10 grandchildren and spouses, Tonya and Wayne Daniel, Temple, OK, Douglas Riddles and Robert Riddles both of Oklahoma City, Jeremy Calfy and wife Jennifer, of Wichita Falls, TX, David and Melissa Riddles, Yukon, OK, Angela and Adam Dennison, Temple, OK, Darren Riddles, Oklahoma City, OK, Ulissa and Chuck Newby, Wichita Falls, TX, Todd and Allison Ottwell, Walters, OK, Brandi and Gerald Beck of Duncan, OK; 22 great grandchildren,Randi & Jason Adams, Maegan & Chelsea Daniel, Laura & Brock Calfy, Cassidy & Allyson Riddles, Dalton, Devyn & Daylin Dennison, Derance, Mila & Charlie Newby, Taylor Ottwell, Braden Hill, Shadi Ottwell, Cameron, Bryce & Jeron Beck and Tori & Sidni Broadus, and 2 great-great grandsons, Jace & Jaxon Adams; other relatives and many friends.
