Donna Kay Quickle was born to Aaron and Ruth (Kelly) Weddle on February 21, 1941 in the Weatherford, OK area and departed this life in Lawton, OK on May 7, 2009 at the age of 68 years, 2 months and 16 days. Donna grew up in the Ahpeatone area and attended Ahpeatone School until it disbanded in 1957. She graduated from Chattanooga High School, Chattanooga, OK in 1959 and was married to Don Allen Quickle on May 20, 1959 in Emerson Baptist Church, west of Walters, OK. She was a member of Emerson Baptist Church where she played the piano for over 45 years and was part of the (WMU) Women's Missionary Union. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donnie and Kelley Weddle. Survivors include her husband Don Allen Quickle, of the home; four sons, Don Allen Quickle Jr. of Chattanooga, OK, Dewey Aaron Quickle and wife Lisa of Sterling, OK, Darek Arnold Quickle and wife Kim of Grandfield, OK, and Daniel Anthony Quickle and wife Lori of Sterling; two daughters, Dawn Alene and husband Art Brown of Madill, OK and DeLayna Annette and husband Ken Wilkerson of Lawton; a brother Kevin Weddle and wife Patti of Denton, TX; a sister Cherlyn and husband Terry Gaines of Horn Lake, MS; 17 grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
