Patricia Louise Hoffert

Patricia Louise Hoffert, 68, Comanche, OK Patricia Louise Hoffert was born to Michael Buford and Inez Mae (Wallace) Downes in Santa Fe, Oklahoma on October 7, 1940 and departed this life in Comanche, Oklahoma on March 26, 2009 at the age of 68 years, 5 months and 19 days. Patricia attended school in Loco, OK before moving to Carlsbad, New Mexico to finish school. She married Donald J. Hoffert in 1957and they were married for 22 years. She was a long haul trucker for 23 years traveling throughout the lower 48 states and Canada with the Handles of "Sugar Time" and Granny Goose". She was preceded in death by 2 sons, Dennis Jay and Kerry Wayne Hoffert; a brother, Tommy Dale Downes; and a sister Verna Nell Hensley. Survivors include a daughter Ingrid and husband Wade Walles of Comanche; a brother James Earl Downes and wife Kay of Albuquerque, NM; a sister Mary Lee McCarty of Royse City, TX; 3 grandchildren, Tosha Billy, William Walles and Joshua Walles; 3 great-grandchildren, Cheza Faith Billy, Dakoda Billy and Elisha Walles; a niece Linda and husband Butch Brummett of Corum, OK; a cousin Terry Whaley and wife Pat of Duncan, OK and many other family members and friends.
