Memorial Service at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.

Amanda Delores (Eubanks) Philpott was born to James Price Eubanks and Ruby Jewel (Bussell) Eubanks on July 18, 1953 in Lucedale, MS and departed this life in Lawton, OK on May 16, 2021 at the age of 67 years, 9 months and 28 days.

Amanda came to Walters from Mississippi at a young age. She made Walters and Lawton her home through the years, working in retail sales. She enjoyed racing cars from the time she was a teenager to age 26 under the name of “Rebel Dee” and a Chevy Camaro was her car of choice. Amanda was a collector and researcher of antiques, was a free spirit and always got her way.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and all but the oldest of her many brothers and sisters.

She was survived by 3 sons, Jay Boxley and Thalia Salinas of McKinney, TX, Beau Hodges of Houston, TX, Tyson Jameson and Mary Sterling of Lawton, OK; a sister, her only surviving sibling, Virginia Benson and husband Leslie of Clifton, VA; 4 grandchildren, Parker Boxley, Heaven Weathers, Kevin Weathers, Declan Jameson; other relatives and friends.
