Billie (Laxson) Kennedy

Billie Laxson Kennedy was born February 17, 1937 in Weatherford, OK.

A great mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, Billie Laxson Kennedy, passed away peacefully on June 13th, 2023.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Eddie Laxson and her two sisters, Gayle Welch and Marg Et Laxson.  Her legacy includes her three children raised in Temple, Oklahoma: Kerry Deutschendorf Plank, Ed Deutschendorf, and Dean Deutschendorf, their spouses respectfully, Jeff Plank, Michele Deutschendorf, and Deanna Deutschendorf, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

Billie graduated high school in Cloud Chief, Oklahoma.  She worked as a Civil Servant at the army base in Fort Sill, Oklahoma until retiring and running several businesses in Temple, Oklahoma.

Billie will be lovingly remembered by family and friends.

A private memorial will be held at a later date. Donations can be made in memory of Billie to the Temple United Methodist Church, 401 W Oregon Street, Temple, OK 73568.
