Bobby Lynn Rath was born to Robert Lee and Doris Nell (Langham) Rath on September 7, 1947 in Walters, OK and departed this life in Walters on May 5, 2022 at the age of 74 years, 7 months and 29 days.
Bobby grew up at Walters, graduating from WHS in 1966. He then joined the Air Force, honorably serving 8 years from 1966-1974 during Vietnam as a Combat Medic. Upon his discharge he made his home in Oklahoma City and later to Littleton, CO working as boiler engineer for apartment complexes in both cities. He returned to Oklahoma in the mid 2000’s, living in Lawton before making his home in Walters once again.
Bobby enjoyed collecting coins, trains and cars. He also enjoyed the mountains, fishing, camping, loved baseball and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. He was interested in and had a knowledge of airplanes. Bobby loved his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Doris Rath.
He is survived by 4 children, Anthony James Rath, Mysti Daun Carbajal of Centennial, CO, Major and Autumn Rath of Centennial, and Justice Emmons of Centennial; a brother, Winston Rath of Norman, OK; 7 grandchildren, Austun Marie Davis and Perry of Centennial, Montanna and Savannah Corwin of Denver, Rayn Major Rath of Highlands Ranch, CO, Jade Rath of Aurora, CO, Dylan Blesh of Centennial, Aria Peters of Centennial and Skylar Rath of High Ranch; 2 great grands, Ian James Davis and Miasha Blesh; other relatives and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held in Colorado at a later date.
