A Private Graveside Service will be held at Burkburnett Memorial Cemetery, Burkburnett, TX under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters, OK. Viewing from 2:00-8:00 pm on Sunday, April 12, 2020 at Hart-Wyatt.

Cecil Allen Jennings was born to Manson Edward and Leetah (Boydston) Jennings on March 20, 1931 in Chico, TX and departed this life in Wichita Falls, TX on April 9, 2020 at the age of 89 years and 20 days.

Cecil grew up in Burkburnett, TX, and soon entered the U.S. Navy, serving his country honorably during the Korean War. He married the love of his life, Jarene Williams, in 1954. They shared a beautiful life together for 49 years before her passing.

Cecil spent his working years with Wichita County Precinct #2 in Burkburnett, serving as Foreman. He was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed camping, fishing and boat rides. He loved to talk and never met a stranger.

He was preceded in death by his father, Manson; his mother, Leetah; his wife, Jarene; and grandchildren, Brenna and Caden Green.

Survivors include his son, Rocky Jennings and wife Crystal of Randlett, OK; 3 daughters and their husbands, Treva Klinkerman and Griff of Weatherford, OK, Tena Tanner and David of Wichita Falls, TX, Denna Green and Rowd of Randlett; 8 grandchildren, Brandi Jennings, Jamie Rogers, Kelli Landers, Hank Klinkerman, Brittney Ford, Brody Green, Cole Caskey and Jacob Jennings; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and his companion of 14 years, Mary Patterson.
