Ferrell Dean Phillips was born to Ferrell Faye and Lena Lamoine (Meaders) Phillips on October 12, 1953 in Walters, OK and departed this life in Oklahoma City, OK on July 3, 2022 at the age of 68 years, 8 months and 21 days.

Dean grew up in Walters, graduating in 1971. He worked many years as a programmer/analyst for the State of Oklahoma until retirement. Growing up he was an Eagle Scout and a member of the French Club, Science Club, Tri State Honor Band and AllState.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ferrell F. and Lena L. Phillips

Dean is survived by his sister, Linda Kay (Phillips) Poindexter, Mustang, OK; his niece, Jennifer (Phillips) Stanley and husband Thomas Stanley of Norman OK; his nephew, Clay Phillips and wife Tracy Phillips of Tuttle, OK; and 2 great nephews, Kole Phillips and Kash Phillips.
