Elizabeth June White, nee Lee, left her earthly home in Dallas, Texas, to meet her Savior on March 5, 2025, at the age of 97. June was born to Thomas E. Lee and Ada Rich Lee in Fletcher, Oklahoma on December 7, 1927. She grew up in Fletcher, Oklahoma and after high school, worked at Southwestern Bell in Lawton, Oklahoma for several years.
She married James E. White in May of 1951 and they celebrated 52 years of marriage before his passing in 2003. They had seven children and she spent her time as a devoted mother and later a dedicated pastor’s wife and had many jobs in the church they started in Edmond, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her children: Terry and wife, Jackie, of Broken Arrow; Jim and wife, Lisa, of Independence, Missouri; Deanna Lowther and husband, David, of Oklahoma City; and Stephen of Dallas, Texas; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, and one brother, T. E. Lee and his wife, Zola, of Allardt, Tennessee.
Preceding her in death are her husband, James, infant son, Gerry, daughters, Rebecca Britton and Joanna Nees, and grandchildren, Billy Welch and Makenzie Parker.
Graveside services will be held Monday, March 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Walters Cemetery in Walters, OK, under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters.
