Elva Sue Harris

Elva Sue (Turner) Harris was born to Dewey Lee and Sharon Jean (Norris) Turner on November 18, 1965 in Fort Worth, TX and departed this life in Walters, OK on June 30, 2021 at the age of 55 years, 7 months and 12 days.

Elva grew up at Fort Worth, Burkburnett, Iowa Park and finally at Walters where she has made her home since that time. She worked at Parkview Manor Nursing Home for a time and was a homemaker. She married Ricky Bob Harris on January 6, 1998 in Wichita Falls.

Elva loved jewelry, and enjoyed watching movies and writing poems. She always loved being with her kids.

She was preceded by her parents, and 2 brothers, Dewey and Tony Turner.

Survivors include her husband, Ricky Bob Harris, of the home; her son, Scott Dykeman of Walters; 2 daughters, Tammy Dykeman of West Virginia and Shelby Stevens of Walters; 2 brothers, Joe Norris and Mark Turner both of Walters; 2 sisters, Penny Harris of Temple and Gloria Allen of Fort Worth, TX; 5 grandchildren, Evan, Jayden, Alexis, Autumn and Alexa; other relatives and friends.
