Funeral Service at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, Thursday, November 1, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., with burial in the Fairview Cemetery, Randlett, OK.
Francis Louise (Keck) Bigford was born to Jim and Lize Ida Bonnie (Richards) Keck on June 20, 1942 at Soper, OK and departed this life in Lawton, OK on October 29, 2018 at the age of 76 years, 4 months and 9 days.
Francis grew up at Martha, OK. She lived in Altus for a time and then onto Palacios, TX for 7 years. She eventually made her way to Temple, OK before moving east of Randlett. Since 2016 Francis has made her home in Walters.
She married Carl Franklin Bigford on February 14, 1997 at Walters, OK. Through the years Francis worked various jobs including employment at Dairy Queen, as well as, roofing and construction while in Texas. While living in Temple she worked at Coffer’s Café, cooked and was an aid at Temple Manor, and worked at Haggar’s. She was also proud to have been a helper to Carl with his carpentry jobs. Her hobbies were sewing, reading and dancing. She loved her dogs, “The Girls,” Diamond and Aggie.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; her husband, Carl in 2010; her son, Jim Oxford; 2 brothers, Cecil Keck and Dwight “Dink” Keck; and 2 sisters, Pat Gilley and Mary Kincannon. She was also recently preceded by one of the girls, Diamond.
Survivors include her daughter Anna Oxford of Wichita, KS; a brother, Donnie Keck of Temple; 3 sisters, Jewell Green, Barbara Gilley and Joy Anderson all of Temple; 3 grandchildren, Brandy Sparks, Robert Oxford and John Oxford; 3 great grandchildren, Bethany Sparks, Baylor Sparks and Andy Grace Oxford; a great-great grandson, Parker Stevenson; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
