Fred James Allison, Jr. was born to Fred James Sr. and Marion Louise (Whittier) Allison on July 8, 1946 and departed this life in Amarillo, TX on October 27, 2019 at the age of 73 years, 3 months and 19 days.
Fred has spent most of his adult life in Oklahoma. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army for 17 years and is a veteran of Vietnam. He married Alverta Carney on May 20, 1986 at Duncan, OK and they have made their home northeast of Walters since that time. Fred enjoyed shooting guns and having others over to his personal firing range. He was a member of the Comanche War Scouts.
Fred was preceded in death by his mother Marion Whittier and his stepson, Roy Lee Sears.
Survivors include his wife Alverta Allison of the home; his children, Amy Allison of Missouri, Michael Allison, and Robert Allison both of Flint, MI; his stepchildren, Rose Lewis of Duncan, OK, Pat Rivas of Wichita Falls, TX, Donna Seymour and Glendal Lackey both of Comanche, OK, and Lisa Lackey of Duncan; 2 sisters, Penny Parker of Maine and Linda Brown of Florida; a brother, John Thompson of Florida; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
