Freda LaVern (Isom) Jones was born to Fred and Lillian LaVern (Reece) Isom on October 5, 1942 at Bonham, TX and departed this life in Lawton, OK on August 25, 2019 at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 20 days.

Freda grew up and lived throughout Texas and Oklahoma. She married Jimmie O’Dell Jones on December 12, 1960 at Salina, KS. They eventually settled in Velma, OK, making it their home since August of 1985.

Freda was a homemaker. She enjoyed shopping, cooking, watching the Cooking Channel and Hallmark, sewing, traveling, getting pedicures, manicures, trips to the beauty shop, and just being pampered. She loved attending her kids and grandkids activities.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Isom and Lillian Isom Reed; her husband, Jimmie Jones; her infant son, James Jones; her daughter, Angel Roper; 2 grandsons, Cody Roper and Nathan Roper; and a son-in-law, Van Bartlett.

Survivors include 6 daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa and Troy Castor of Velma, OK, Leasa and Brent Anderson of Liberal, KS, Tina Jones of Duncan, OK, Julie and Bruce Price of Ringling, OK, Twila and Shawn Farrar of Flower Mound, TX, Crystal and Bill Smith of Marlow; a step-daughter, Pam York of Springtown, TX; 21 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
