Homer Lee “Pug” Hawkins was born June 2, 1925 to Homer Washington and Claudie Hawkins in Allen, Oklahoma. Mr. Hawkins passed away on January 18, 2019 in Lawton, OK.

Homer was raised and graduated high school in Atoka, Oklahoma. Mr. Hawkins served his country honorably in the United States Army during World War II. Homer resided at the VA Center in Lawton since April 2017. Homer retired from civil service at Ft Sill and owned Treasure Chest Jewelry in Lawton, Ok

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Martha Elizabeth Pickett Hawkins. Homer and Martha were married October 10, 1952. They have three daughters, Robbie Warrell husband Richard of Flower Mound, Tx; Kathye New Lawton OK and Jana Van Heusen husband Morris of Lawton, Ok. Four grandchildren, Kaye Warrell of Waco, Texas, Melina Maloukis, Lawton OK., Lee Maloukis wife Leslin Perla Lawton Ok and Amanda Downs of Altus, Ok. Three great grandchildren, Taylor Lane husband Cade of Forney, Texas, Tristan Alexander Giles and Michael Joseph Maloukis Lawton Ok.
