Funeral Service at Devol First Baptist Church on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 10:30 a.m., Rev. Justin Cardwell Officiating under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters, OK. Viewing on Wednesday from 1:00 to 8:00 pm and on Thursday from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm at Hart-Wyatt.

Jeffrey Glenn “Jeff” Powell was born to Glenn Ivan and Phyllis Jacqueline (Lomax) Powell on January 29, 1965 in Wichita Falls, TX and departed this life in Devol, OK on April 18, 2022 at the age of 57 years, 2 months and 20 days.

Jeff grew up at Devol, graduating from Big Pasture High School in 1983. He worked in a detail shop, did HVAC with his grandpa, did pipeline maintenance with his dad and G&G Construction, worked construction and Piping Engineering for most of his life and was currently farming for Scott Laminack. Jeff enjoyed fishing, hunting, working, helping people, playing with his grandchildren and gardening.

He was preceded in death by his dad, Glenn Powell and his grandparents.

Survivors include his mother, Jackie Powell of Devol, OK; 4 children and spouses, Dalan Powell and Chelsie of Wichita Falls, TX, Madison Rollins and Clint of Waurika, OK, Payton Powell of Devol, OK and Kadyn Spradlin of Weatherford, OK; 3 grandchildren, Ava, Case and Emma; 2 brothers and sisters-in-law, Greg Powell and Karla, Brian Powell and Debbie all of Devol; other relatives and many friends.
