Karen Marie (Woods) Wright Cummings was born August 17, 1968 in Waurika, OK and departed this life in Tulsa, OK on November 29, 2019 at the age of 51 years, 3 months and 12 days.

Karen grew up at Temple, OK. She graduated from THS in 1986 and later attended nursing school. Karen has made her home in Tulsa for several years. She married Wilmer Henry Cummings, Jr. on March 2, 2018 in Tulsa.

Karen loved life and enjoyed helping people and making them laugh.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Marie Woods in 2010; her son, Terrance Tisdale in 2018; and Noah Brown who help raise her.

Survivors include her husband, Wilmer H. Cummings, of the home in Tulsa; a son, Skyler Wright of Tulsa; a daughter, Airyona Wallace of Tulsa, OK; her sister, Pamela Tisdale of Dallas, TX; her brothers, Chris Brown of Oklahoma City and Dwayne Woods of Burkburnett, TX; 2 grandsons, Zaiden and Jonah; 2 nieces, Kiesha and Brianna Tisdale; and her best friends, Randy Holloway and Craig Wright.
