Memorial Services at the Temple Cemetery Pavillion, Temple, Oklahoma, Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Christy Clark officiating. A Memorial service was previously held at 3:00 pm, Friday, April 16, 2021 at Church of the Resurrection-Overland Park, KS.

Kristi Anne Keezer, 53, of Overland Park, Kansas, went to her Heavenly home on Palm Sunday, March 28, 2021. Kristi was born to Maurice Pete Keezer and LaRae Bowen Keezer on May 3, 1967 in San Angelo, Texas while her father was stationed there in the USAF. After her father’s Air Force retirement, the family moved several times. She attended elementary school in KCK, Cabol, Missouri, and Overland Park, KS. She graduated from Shawnee Mission South High School in 1986. She attended Johnson County Community College.

During her grade school years, she was a Brownie Girl Scout. She was also an Indian Princess with her dad ‘s encouragement. While living in Kansas City, KS, she won a Wyandotte County art contest with her pen and ink drawing. She loved art and had hoped to attend the Kansas City Art Institute with a career in art. She was a member of the Wyandotte United Methodist Church during her grade school years. She was also a member of Job’s Daughters in junior and senior high school.
While in high school, she won a trip to Paris, France for two in a drawing in the Glenwood Movie Theatre. She and her mother flew there and enjoyed Paris very much. She visited the Louve, Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, Napoleon’s Tomb, etc. They also traveled to Fountainebleau and Versailles Palaces.

In 1988 she met and married Kendall Nagorski. Mr. Nagorski was from Nebraska, but attended school in Kansas City. After his graduation, he accepted a position in Beatrice, Nebraska where their son, Kalin was born in 1989. Later, Mr. Nagorski was transferred by his company to Atoka, Oklahoma. In 1994, their daughter Kassandra was born in McAlester, OK. They lived in Atoka approximately 10 years. After their divorce, Kristi moved back to Overland Park. Her daughter Kaite Beth was born in 2005. Kristi lived with her parents until her father passed away. She then moved to Topeka, Kansas where she lived two years. In 2018 She returned to Overland Park and lived with her mother. Her daughter Kaite attended Overland Trail Middle School and currently is a 9th grade student at Shawnee Mission South High School.

Kristi enjoyed her children, travel, estate sales, concerts, and playing cards. She was a Texas Hold-Em fan and played with several friends. She truly loved sports and was a huge fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and the Kansas City Royals. She continued to enjoy traveling and was especially excited when she took her two older children to Disney World. She was a joy to all with her great sense of humor. She was warm and loving. When her health allowed, she was employed by the Shawnee Mission School District and later the Olathe School District.

Kristi was preceded in death by her father Maurice Pete Keezer, brother Joseph and grandparents. She is survived by her mother LaRae and brother Kyle Keezer; children, Kalin (Linsey) Nagorski, grandchildren Kolt and Mila of Atoka, OK; Kassandra (Chase) Wilkey of Durant, OK; and daughter Kaite Beth Keezer, of the home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society or The Church of the Resurrection-Overland Park.
