Funeral Services were held at New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, Lawton, OK, Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m., Rev. James Gorham officiating with burial in the Temple Cemetery, Temple, OK under the direction of Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Temple.

Lena Ethel (Turner) Tisdale was born to Howard and Beulah (Hannah) Turner on January 8, 1921 in Tollette, AR and departed this life in Midwest City, OK on December 7, 2020 at the age of 99 years, 10 months and 29 days.

She was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Lawton, OK, under the leadership of Rev. Dr. N.H. Jones and current pastor Rev. James Gorham. She was active in Senior mission, and many other church activities and ministries. Her recreational activities included sewing, cooking, canning, and serving in her church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 3 husbands, 3 brothers, 5 sisters, and a grandson, Eddie.

Survivors include: daughters, Faye Lois and Laverne of Dallas, TX, and Irene (Troy) of Midwest City, OK; 5 grandchildren, Terry, Marcell, David and Troy, Jr. of Dallas, and Eldon of Oklahoma City; 6 great grandchildren; numerous great-great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of extended family.
