Ann grew up at Sugden where she attended school until it closed then attended Waurika, graduating from WHS in 1957. She married Dewey Eugene Richardson on January 31, 1959 at Sugden. They first made their home in Waurika where she worked for the telephone company. They moved to Frederick and then to Duncan working as a seamstress in both towns. When the boys got into school, she began working at school but returned to her seamstress work when they got into high school. The family moved to Oklahoma City for a time but eventually returned to Waurika. In 1990, she and Dewey opened a new car dealership in Waurika and eventually built the new Richardson Auto Center on Highway 81. They sold out in 2006.

She was a member of the Church of Christ and was all about family and church. She enjoyed sewing, reading, and animals in general. She also enjoyed going to feed the cows with Dewey and Dylan. She loved attending anything her grandkids did, and just loved people.
