Michael Seymour

Michael Dewayne Seymour was born to Robert and Irene (Sexton) Seymour on October 26, 1943 in Hobart, OK and departed this life in Wichita Falls, TX on August 7, 2021 at the age of 77 years, 9 months and 12 days.

Michael grew up mostly in Randlett, OK, but for a time in Hobart, OK. He married Earlene Linda Biggs on January 12, 1963 at Ecorse, MI. They made their home at Fort Hood for a time and then back to Michigan until returning to Oklahoma in 1975. They were back in Michigan in 1985 staying another 10-year stint before settling back at Randlett in 1995. During his time in both Michigan and Oklahoma, Michael worked in residential construction and was skilled in all aspects of carpentry but did drywall for the most part. He retired in July of 2011.

He was a member of Legacy Church of God, Wichita Falls. He an Earlene enjoyed traveling to visit family, and Michael enjoyed watching westerns and loved spending time with his grandbabies.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Irene Seymour; his wife, Earlene Seymour; a son, Robert Seymour; 2 brothers, Dwyght Seymour and Jim Seymour; and a sister, Freida Snodgrass.

Survivors include 3 children and their spouses, Earl and Cynthia Seymour of Waco, TX, Glen and Cheryl Marsh of Iuka, MS, Michaelin and James Davis of Randlett, OK; his sister, Phyllis Seymour of Shelby Township, MI; 2 grandchildren, Felicia Shuck and Logan of Iowa Park, TX and Myranda Smith and Jeff of Robinson, TX; 4 great grandchildren, Leeah, Andrew, Taylee and Lindee; his beloved Biggs Family; his many nieces, nephews and friends.
