Robert "Bobby" Lane

Robert Leon “Bobby” Lane was born to Loy Thomas Lane and Clarice LaVone (Wilson) Lane on February 29, 1948 in Blackwell, OK and departed this life in Duncan, OK on June 15, 2022 at the age of 74 years, 3 months and 17 days.

Bobby grew up in McAlester, moving to Comanche at age 12. He graduated from Comanche High School in 1967 and then served his country honorably during the Vietnam War. He has made his home in the Duncan/Comanche area. working for Cotton County, then as a gas delivery truck driver for Mitchell & Mitchell, and also worked for the City of Comanche.

Bobby enjoyed going to the lake, playing golf, drinking with his buddies, watching OU Football and spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Richard Lane; and his son Eddie Cobb.

Survivors include his wife, Cathey Lou (Glasgow) Lane of the home; his son, Christopher Lane and Bonnie Hoover of Mesa, AZ; his daughter, Michelle Bush and Christian of Brandon, FL; his stepdaughter, Rhonda Glasgow of Duncan, OK; 8 grandchildren, Christen Cobb, Destin Cobb, Haley Cobb, Alaura Lane, Skylar Morales, Paige Bush, Damien Glasgow and Patien Armstrong; 4 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
